In response to wide interest amongst the MetTrans fellows, we have organised a workshop on writing scientific papers, including planning, data evaluation, and writing sections. Various writing exercises were included. For more details please click here

The International Carbon Conference was in Reykjavik, Iceland. The conference was a joint outreach meeting between five European and Scandinavian networks: CarbFix, CO2-REACT, MetTrans, MINSC and NORDICCS.

The first MetTrans network-wide training events (School 1: Isotopes in the Environment / Workshop 1: Mass spectrometry and basic research skills) took place in Oxford, UK, from January 21st-24th, 2013. They were organised and hosted by the University of Oxford – Department of Earth Sciences.
A total of 40 people attended the events, of which 29 MetTrans researchers (17 senior researchers, 12 Marie Curie PhD students) and 11 researchers from outside the network (7 senior researchers, 4 PhD students).
