Dr Lena Zetterström Evins is a research manager at SKB, working with different questions concerning the processes affecting spent nuclear waste in a repository. Her research is focused on surface reactions and dissolution processes, including both experimental work and modeling. Much of this research is conducted in international collaborative projects, one of which she coordinates. She works also with natural analogue studies, in which features and processes in the natural environment are studied in order to enhance knowledge regarding processes expected in and around a repository site. She is currently co-supervising two PhD students.
Keywords: uranium, mineralogy, geochemistry, dissolution, spent nuclear fuel.
